C Docs
C Docs is the document editor at https://docs.conserworks.in. Use it when the words have to stay in one place that more than one person can open. This Hub page is the how-to. The editor itself asks you to sign in.
Create a document
Sign in on docs.conserworks.in and start a new document. Give it a title that you would recognise in a list next month, then write in the page. The document stays on your account, so closing the tab is not the same as losing the file. Come back to the same document instead of pasting the text into a new blank page each time you edit.
Share it
Open sharing on that document and add the people who should see it. Give edit access only to people who are supposed to change the words. Everyone else can have view access. Send the link to those people. A link forwarded to a stranger is still a share, so do not drop it in a public chat if the document is private.
Comments and live editing
People with edit access can work in the document at the same time. You see their changes in the page instead of collecting versions by email. When a sentence needs a question, leave a comment on that passage. The comment stays next to the words it is about. Reply there, then change the text. That is easier to follow than a separate thread that says ’see the third paragraph’.
Export DOCX or PDF
When someone needs a file outside the editor, export DOCX if they will keep editing in Word, or PDF if they only need a fixed copy to read or file. Export makes a copy. The document on docs.conserworks.in is still the one people share and comment on. If you edit after the export, send a new file. The old PDF will not update itself.
