Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Conserworks Global LLP ("Company", "we", "us"), operating the Conserworks brand and the Conserworks Hub service at conserworks.in, collects, uses, stores, and protects information. It also explains our use of cookies and similar technologies.
By using Conserworks Hub, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required by law, we will obtain it separately (for example, when you sign in through C Mail).
1. Data controller
Conserworks Global LLP
Brand: Conserworks · Service: Conserworks Hub
Chandigarh, India
Privacy contact:
info@conserworks.in
2. Scope
This Policy applies to Conserworks Hub (the public home page, search bar, app shortcuts, and sign-in integration). When you open linked Conserworks products (such as C Mail, C Pay, or others), those services are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them before use.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Search queries and URLs you enter in the Hub search bar (processed to navigate or suggest sites);
- Account-related data when you sign in via C Mail (handled under C Mail's policies; we may store a token and basic profile locally in your browser to show you as signed in on the Hub).
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Server and security logs: IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, pages requested;
- Technical data from our hosting and content-delivery partners (for example, Cloudflare) to deliver the site securely;
- Aggregated usage data to maintain reliability and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the Hub to serve targeted advertising based on your activity.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate and improve Conserworks Hub (search, shortcuts, navigation);
- Authenticate you when you choose to sign in through C Mail;
- Protect the Service, users, and infrastructure from fraud and abuse;
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
- Communicate with you about the Service where necessary.
5. Legal basis (India)
We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) where applicable. Processing may be based on your consent, performance of our relationship with you, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, balanced against your rights.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Conserworks Hub uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies. This section describes what we use and why.
6.1 Strictly necessary
-
Hub sign-in storage — after you authenticate via C Mail, we may store a token and basic profile
in your browser (for example
hub_cmail_token,hub_cmail_user) so you remain signed in on the Hub; - Security and delivery — cookies or tokens set by our infrastructure partners to protect against abuse and deliver content securely.
6.2 Functional
- Preferences stored locally to improve your experience on the Hub;
- Session-related data for admin functions where applicable.
6.3 Analytics and advertising
We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on Conserworks Hub. If we introduce non-essential analytics in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, request consent before such tracking.
6.4 Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or clear on exit). Clearing local storage may sign you out of the Hub. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in and some features from working.
If your search navigates to an external search engine or website, that third party's cookies and policies apply on their site, not ours.
7. How we share information
We may share information only in these circumstances:
- Conserworks products — when you sign in or open a linked app (for example C Mail), as needed to provide that service;
- Service providers — hosting, infrastructure, email, or security vendors under confidentiality obligations;
- Legal requirements — regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights and safety;
- Business transfers — merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where practicable;
- With your direction — when you explicitly request or authorise disclosure.
8. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed to operate the Hub, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. Browser-stored sign-in data remains until you clear it or sign out.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete personal information; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; and lodge a grievance with us or the relevant authority. Contact info@conserworks.in. We may verify your identity before responding.
11. Children
Conserworks Hub is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us for deletion.
12. International transfers
Data may be processed in India or where our infrastructure providers operate. Where data is transferred outside India, we take steps consistent with applicable law to protect it.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Material changes may require renewed consent where mandated by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Grievance and contact
For privacy questions or grievances under applicable Indian law, contact info@conserworks.in. We will endeavour to respond within timelines prescribed by law.
