C Accounts
C Accounts is the firm workspace at https://accounts.conserworks.in. A practice uses it to take client papers, review them, and keep worksheets and a ledger. CA review is required, and it does not file tax returns.
Create a firm
Create the firm before you add people. Clients and staff then belong to that practice. A file sitting only in a personal chat is not in the firm, and the next person on the job cannot see it. Use the firm name your clients already know, so an invite is obviously from the practice.
Invite a client
Invite the client into the firm and say which papers you need. The client uploads those files into the firm. You should not need the same documents again on a personal number. If the client uploads the wrong year or a photo that cannot be read, ask for a replacement in the firm so the bad file and the good file stay on the same client.
Staff review
Staff open the upload and review it: is it the right client, the right period, and complete enough to work from. An upload is not a finished job. CA review is required. A worksheet can be prepared by staff, but it is not done until a CA has reviewed it. Do not tell the client the work is finished at the upload step.
Worksheets and ledger export
Build the worksheets in C Accounts, then export the ledger when you need a file for the working papers or for the client. Check the export against the figures you reviewed. The export is a copy for your file. It is not a submission to a tax department.
C Accounts does not file tax returns. Filing, if the client wants it, happens outside this product after the CA review. Sales invoices you raised in C Invoice can be part of the papers. They are still invoices, not a return.
